Use your models in other apps

pasture answers at Ollama's usual address, http://127.0.0.1:11434. So every app that works with Ollama works with pasture, with no setting to change, and sees all your models, including the ones pasture moved away.

Apps that talk to Ollama

Apps that support Ollama find it on their own. That includes the ollama command, chat apps, and coding tools such as OpenCode, Codex, and Claude Code. When an app asks for a model that pasture moved away, pasture brings the model back first, so that first answer takes longer.

Apps that ask for an OpenAI address

Some apps work with any OpenAI-compatible server. Give them this address, and any text where they ask for an API key:

http://127.0.0.1:11434/v1

Web apps in your browser

A web page can use your models only when you allow the site it comes from. The Cinchapi apps in your browser, such as Relay, come from https://cinchapi.com:

pasture allow https://cinchapi.com

pasture allow with nothing after it lists the sites you allowed, and pasture disallow https://cinchapi.com removes one. The Cinchapi desktop app needs no pasture allow.

A site you allow can run and download models. It cannot change pasture's settings, move models, or delete a model's copy in your archive folder. Let web apps use your models has the details.
